This is the first horse I've ever painted. I've painted lots of animals; dogs, cats, chipmunks, goats, racoons and birds...and used that same technique here. I especially wanted to paint this because they are such great horses. He has brothers named Paul and Seven. The tack was a challenge but I had fun with the leathers, silvers and stitching. Hope you like it. I have included detail shots below.

"Peaches" was accepted into the "43rd Annual North East International Open Exhibition".
So it will be off to Connecticut shortly for the show. The show runs from October 20 to November 3 at the "Gallery at Kent Art Association" in Kent, Connecticut. A big thank you to the selection committee for including my watercolor.
