JOB DESCRIPTION
The Field Service Engineer will be in charge of site activities management including planning,
assigning manpower resources and tools, providing technical assistance to complete the work
scope according to contractual requirements.
In particular, he/she will be responsible for:
· To client’s offices, prepare field services jobs and interventions with the project
managers.
· Supervise the installation, calibration and set up of instruments
· Supervise cable laying, meggering and connection
· Lead and execute loop check and commissioning phase performing the functional tests.
· Lead and execute unit start-up and performance tests ensuring proper and safe operation
of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system

· Use company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill
of material and drawings

& Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures
· The candidate will be responsible to keep reliability of Customers assets and to support on
proactive way all Xxx customers.
 
REQUIREMENTS
· Electronic/Mechanic Engineer Degree or Technical High School5+ years related work
experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant industry field activities
· Strong knowledge in rotating equipment control philosophy (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine,
Centrifugal Compressor, Reciprocate Compressor) and their auxiliaries
· Strong knowledge in unit control panel (UCP), motor control center (MCC), direct current
panel (DCP) and fire fighting system installation and commissioning· Strong knowledge in
field devices, instruments and actuators (servo-valves, thermo elements, transmitters etc…)
· Ability to handle special tools like pressure pump, multi-meter, frequency generator,
oscilloscope and field generator (MicroCal).
· Ability to understand and implement technical drawings (wiring diagram, P&ID, General
Arrangement, etc…).
· Experience with either MKIV, MKV or MKVI Control Panel is desired.
Willingness to travel frequently within Europe, with occasional assignments globally will be required.
 
2- Machinery Diagnosis Engineer
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
The MDS Engineer performs diagnostic on machinery behavior based on vibration and
other mechanical measurements and expertise, at customer sites. The engineer also
provides mechanical expertise to configure client machinery management systems. He also
conducts training to customers.
 
Essential Responsibilities
· Diagnose machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and
customer information
· React to customer required travel in a timely manner, while bringing all required
diagnostic equipment
· Produce complete documentation of findings/analysis/recommendations
· Assess job site Safety
· Balancing: Determine and direct placement of Balance weights
· Alignment: Reverse Dial, Laser, Optical Methodologies

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Systems & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning and fault
finding for the full range of hardware and software products in the client  Measurement & Control
Solutions business portfolio. Primarily customers will be associated with the Oil & Gas and Power
Generation industries internationally and may be located both onshore and offshore.
Responsibilities include:
· Installation and commissioning of client’s hardware and software in a wide variety of machine types
encountered in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, and other process industries.
· Troubleshoot existing client’s hardware and software installations on-site.
· Provide technical assistance to customers on site as needed.
· Provide on-the-job training to customer employees as needed.
· Supervise mechanical and electrical sub-trades, and machine disassembly/reassembly.
· Install transducers and configure monitoring systems.
· Identify problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project success.

· Screening of returned products to determine the level of repair and spare parts required.

· Completion of engineering reports, quality Non-conformity reports.
· Communicating with engineering, quality, customer care to resolve customer issues.
 
Experience and Qualifications:
· Applicants should have experience of Microsoft products, (Excel, Word and Outlook).
· Several years of experience working in a similar repair environment is desirable.
· Good electrical aptitude is needed, with experience of working with printed circuit boards,
power supplies, components and soldering.
· Mechanical skills including knowledge of vacuum and pressure pumps, motors and
pneumatic systems is required.
· Ability to read circuit diagrams, drawings and technical manuals.
· Applicants must have minimum GCSE grade A to C in Mathematics and English.

6-In-House Repair Technician/Engineer
 
Job description
· Perform day-to-day verification, repair, calibration and certification operation in In-House
Services with accountability for EHS, fulfillment, quality and utilization.
· Collaborating with supply chain, engineering, quality and customer care to resolve customer
repair issues.
· Partner with Supply Chain on spare part procurement and distribution to support In-House
and Field service demands
· Execute fault-finding, repair and calibration of electro/mechanical instrumentation
· Recording and reporting the service activities on given forms and in given standardized
formats
· Support Technical & Training leads to enhance service capability.
· Support for ensuring that the In-House function is sufficiently equipped to execute on
customer demand
· Perform loaner/rental/exchange pool refurbish and distribution activities
The individual should be pro-active in problem solving with a desire to learn and develop within the
role.
 
Role & Responsibilities
· Calibration, verification, repair and testing of x-ray measuring equipment – form repairing
sub-assemblies (electrical and mechanical modules) to inspection and refurbishment of
complete systems - will form the majority of the daily tasks, with additional computer work to
provide certificates and data analysis.
· Liaison with the local service admin team and partnering with the global services COE
teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues and timely updating of job progress
notes to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Working closely with the Service COE workshops in EU regarding first time fix on technical
issues affecting the repair and calibration of products.
 
Experience
· Previous experience would be advantageous; however full-specialized training will be
given.
· Experienced in dealing with standard electronic measurements equipment for inspection of
electronic systems, printed circuit boards and PC systems
· Computer knowledge is desirable with some experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
being beneficial. Training will be given on other software packages in use.
· Knowledge in applying automated PC based test stations to perform repair analysis and
electronic calibration / certification
· Knowledge of Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 is desirable.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
· Technical degree in electronics and /or mechatronics
· 2 years of experience in similar production or services positions (Manufacturing, Field
services or In-House repair shop) would be considered.

9 -Services Coordinator
 
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Services Coordinator will be required to work, under the supervision of the Services Manager
and with some degree of independence in certain tasks, to provide coordination of all Services
activities, including communication with customers and accurate input for financial tasks and
reporting.
 
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
· Coordinate Services activities to be executed by Field Engineers (FE's):
· Request customer creation in ERP system
· Receive initial request from customer
· Prepare quotation estimation for simple jobs, or coordinate with Services Manager on
creating quotation
· Provide quotation / estimation to customer
· Receive initial Purchase Order and check most immediate details for correctness
· Coordinate with Services Manager and with Field Engineers to get FE assigned to the job
· Manage agenda of jobs for FE's
· Support preparation of documentation for site entry and safety requirements
· Receive timesheets and expense reports from FE's, and produce calculation of costs and
prices for invoicing
· Communicate with customer on final balance of jobs, and trigger invoicing
· Support cash collections
· Coordinate Technical Training activities in house
· Support quality surveys to customers
· Keep accurate track of all steps of Services transactions, both in SAP ERP system and in
local files
· Check hours dropped by Field Engineers and request corrections
· Coordinate shipments of demo or test equipment
· Support business reporting and reviews, including support to Statutory financial
requirements
· Entry point for office activities related to Services, including purchase of office supplies and
services tools
· Keep up to date with operations processes, by attending training and obtaining internal
certifications

These personnel will perform the following functions:
· Responsible for safety administration, risk management, controlling issues, EHS training,
medical and security related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety.
· Direct liaison with end customer at site in safety task planning with project scope of work,
conducting site audits, equipment and PPE inspections, and take Pro-Active Measures to
eliminate potential safety hazards.
· Responsible for day-to-day auditing, scheduling and tracking of EHS work progress.
Reporting and Logging all findings as per Policy.
· Conduct Tool Box Talks, Safety Meetings, Orientations, and Training to assure employees
understand the hazards associated with the scope of work. Also, responsible for
maintaining the records of the aforementioned.
· Conduct Audits, Incident Investigations, and Root Cause Analysis of Near Miss and
Incidents to ensure safe work procedures are being followed in respect to Company Policy,
OHSA, EPA, DOT, and Client/Company Policy along with applicable regulatory state and
federal laws within specified area work is being performed.
· Ensure Emergency Response capabilities are solidified and maintained.
 
Minimum Qualification:
· Construction and Heavy Industrial safety management with 5 years of experience.
· In depth knowledge of OSHA construction regulations (fall protection, scaffolding, electrical
safety, rigging, confined space entry, fire protection, signs, signals & barricades, steel
erection, concrete construction, excavations, lockout/tagout, etc.)
· Demonstrated leadership abilities
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Computer proficient and wed base tool experience.
· NR10 – Electrical Safety (recommended)
· OSHA Construction Safety Trainer accreditation (recommended)
· First Aid and CPR Training (recommended)
