I’m ready.  I’ve got a question for all participants.  I got a webcam for Christmas to talk with family back home.  It would be great way to hold a book club.  Is anyone else out there webcam qualified?  I know of free video conferencing software that will allow six to see each other at one time….any thoughts?

I don't have a web cam but if they are relatively cheep I'd be willing to invest if others are.

They are pretty cheap.  I did a web conference with my mom and brother last night, it was sweet.  My brother is teaching me how to play the guitar via webcam….ahhh the technology.

I too am ready. I finished the book yesterday. But for those who aren't ready, just pick a date and I'll be there.

I don't have a web cam (but I'll look into what I can do with my system). Although, putting my mug on video might not be such a great idea. Who knows what kind of damage it might inflict on the interweb?

 

Anyone have some pre-meeting questions, ponderations or observations regarding the book? Perhaps something to "look into" as preparation?

I think my Mac has a built in cam, so what ever software we consider, make sure it is MAC compatible =)
