Nomore small houses with dozens of little rooms - size is what really counts!

Glass roofs, plate glass windows for walls and a ceiling many feet above your head - this is how kings live!

Take run-down tenement houses and old industrial buildings - factories, large commercial buildings and warehouses - and turn them into luxury apartments.

The jobs for this DLC come with their own 3D menu of a top-down view of Moonrise Bay, and a type of "story-mode". Each job is preceded by a cutscene and dialogue with client characters who each have their own 2D illustration. Each job explores the new properties added as part of this DLC.

Below, we share some of the most important considerations to think about before buying a flip house to optimize your bottom line on this investment. Like you, we want your investment to be outrageously profitable.

High-end properties require a bit of expertise. You want an agent who understands the local market and especially the local luxury market. Then you can find the best potential deals and avoid any nightmare scenarios.

For all luxury properties, outdoor kitchens, dining rooms, and sitting areas are very popular, as are high ceilings, timeless architectural details, and hardwood floors. If the home is on a lake, be sure to include an inviting boat dock.

If it will be a vacation rental or family vacation home, for example, you may want to include a game room with space for a pool table and pinball machines, a wide back porch or patio to accommodate a hot tub, and multiple master bedroom suites.

If the neighborhood is likely to attract families with children living at home, include some beautiful study spaces and a playroom. Because families will want this to be their forever home, consider universal design principles so people can enjoy the home for a lifetime.

Luxury buyers appreciate extra living space in their homes and want to see every nook and cranny used ingeniously. Think bonus room, playroom/play space, reading nook, under-the-stairs wet bar, or a fully finished basement.

The DLC, which is available now for $14.99, lets players tear down tenement houses and old industrial buildings and turn them into luxury apartments. Additionally, players can flip yachts, build indoor swimming pools, renovate furniture, and automate their houses.

Luxury also brings a new set of customers for players to deal with in Moonrise Bay. Players will need to adhere to the highest standards and get a feel for their specific tastes to make them happy. Watch the latest trailer for the expansion below:

Matt is one of the longest-serving members of the EGMNOW team. An ability to go many hours without sleep and a quick wit make him ideal for his role as associate editor at EGMNOW.com. He often thinks back to the days when the very idea of this career seemed like nothing but an impossible dream.

After more than a year in gestation, we finally have a House Flipper Luxury DLC release date. The pack - which Frozen District says is the biggest one yet for the renovation sim - is coming this October, and will add lots of new content.

Per a press release, the Luxury DLC is adding all-new items, mechanics, and NPCs to House Flipper. It'll bring more than 15 new jobs, all of which will be available as ready-to-buy properties after you've finished the tasks assigned to you. Once you've flipped a property, you'll find hundreds of new items to decorate it with, so there's pretty much no chance you'll run out of options. These new items include beautiful luxury furniture, swimming pools, and massive decorative windows, as well as smart devices you can use to control your home's electronics.

That's not all, though. Just a few months after the Pets DLC introduced some cute and cuddly animals to House Flipper, the Luxury DLC is adding all-new NPCs to bring a bit more flavor to the game. They're the residents of a brand new area being introduced to the game, alongside a new map. Frozen District is also promising the ability to renovate "furniture from past centuries" in the House Flipper Luxury DLC. The devs say this will take time, but it'll be a rewarding endeavor, so it's worth doing if you're already a fan of House Flipper.

You can get your hands on the House Flipper Luxury DLC on October 14th. It'll set you back $14.99, but you're getting plenty of content for your cash. This is the latest in a long string of updates for House Flipper, some of which have been more outlandish (literally) than others. Back in 2019, House Flipper added the ability to flip gardens (which surely means we should now be calling it House and Garden Flipper). After this, last year - in keeping with the slow expansion indicated by moving into the garden - House Flipper literally went to the moon. Okay, it was an April Fool's joke, but we would kinda love to see an unironic Moon House Flipper. That's not to mention the game's Apocalypse DLC, which allows you to design your own nuclear bunker.

If you can't wait to get hold of the House Flipper Luxury DLC, you can wishlist it on Steam right now, so you'll know the exact moment it drops. Frozen District says it'll keep us posted on future DLC for the game, so it looks like there's more wackiness on the way. Here's hoping for a House Flipper Mars DLC. There's never been a better time to be a fan of flipping houses!
