CI Jam this Sunday - and a bunch of dancing opportunities next week!

Hey CI Philly,

We have a CI Jam happening this Sunday.

Next week will be a big CI week with a thursday class, saturday underscore, and sunday class-jam combo!

This Week:

Sunday 1/18: Contact Improv Jam 4-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space (mask optional)

• Facilitated by Derek Freeh & Jamie Fin Firman
• Jams begin with an opening circle followed by a facilitated warm-up, which leads into an extended period of open dancing and ends with a closing circle.
• $10-25 sliding scale ($15 suggested), cash or Venmo. Pre-registration not required.
• Studio is located at 1170 S. Broad St. Please ring the "Rear Studio" buzzer to be let into the building! 

January Events:

• Sunday Jan.18th - CI Jam, 4-6pm 
• Thursday Jan. 22nd - CI Class, 6:30-8:30pm (Teacher: Liam Schaffer) -- mask required
• Sunday Jan. 25th - Class/Jam Combo, 3-6pm  (Teacher: Miryam Coppersmith)
• Thursday Jan. 29th - CI Class, 6:30-8:30pm (Teacher: Leah Stein)
• Sunday Feb 1st - Class/Jam Combo, 3-6pm (Teacher: Leah Stein)

           *All events take place at Headlong Studio/Mascher Space Co-op (1170 S. Broad St.)

Masking: The class on Thursday January 22nd will be mask-required. We are in discussion about future masking policy.

Other Upcoming CI Events:

• The Underscore will be hosted by Loren Groenendaal on January 24th, 4-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space. This is a very fun and rewarding focused jam which has a bit more structure than a regular jam. If you have not participated in an Underscore before it usually requires a talk through to understand the structure ahead of time.
