last chance to pledge to bring Nita Little to Philly June 12-14 for Somatic Communication

Hello Contact Improv Philly community,

I am trying to bring Nita Little to Philly to lead her Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication (ISSC) June 12-14, 2026.

The crowd-sourced fundraiser has gained some traction, but we need more people to pledge by 11:59pm TOMORROW, Thursday, May 7 to accumulate enough advance tuition to get Nita on a plane and make it official.  If you want this to happen, please commit your tuition soon. You get the benefit of early bird discount on tuition. If enough people pledge in time, the community gets the benefit of this incredible teacher to establish this deep research here. This is an all or nothing style campaign, so if we don't get enough pledges by the deadline, you will get your tuition refunded.

Nita Little is a living legend and a gem to get the chance to study with. She is the one of the last practicing members of the founding cohort of Contact Improvisation (CI). Her research and teaching goes beyond CI to somatics, compositional improvisation, emergence, relational intelligence, even a PhD in performance studies, and more. While one does not have to be a Contacter or even a dancer to do this workshop, you can apply the knowledge to your Contact Improvisation, other dancing, or beyond to relating, healing, life!
