First CI Jam of the new year on Sunday! 4-6pm

Hey CI Philly,

Happy new year everyone! It's 2026 and we are back. :)

This Week:

Sunday 1/11: Contact Improv Jam 4-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space (mask optional)

• Facilitated by Miryam Coppersmith & Jenny Sawyer
• Jams begin with an opening circle followed by a facilitated warm-up, which leads into an extended period of open dancing and ends with a closing circle.
• $10-25 sliding scale ($15 suggested), cash or Venmo. Pre-registration not required.
• Studio is located at 1170 S. Broad St. Please ring the "Rear Studio" buzzer to be let into the building! 

January Events:

• Jams:  Sundays Jan. 11th & 18th, 4-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space
• Classes:  Thursdays Jan. 22 & 29, 6:30-8:30pm  at Headlong/Mascher Space (Teachers: Liam Schaffer & Leah Stein)
• Class & Jam Combos:  Sundays Jan. 25th & Feb 1st, 3-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space (Teachers: Miryam Coppersmith & Leah Stein)

Masking: The class on Thursday January 22nd will be mask-required. We are in discussion about future masking policy.

Other Upcoming CI Events:

• The Underscore will be hosted by Loren Groenendaal on January 24th, 4-6pm at Headlong/Mascher Space. This is a very fun and rewarding focused jam which has a bit more structure than a regular jam. If you have not participated in an Underscore before it usually requires a talk through to understand the structure ahead of time.
