sign in (very important to create the app link in appdata for later)
I got an MP3 file, Right clicked and open with. I then hovered over open with another program... Selected "Choose another app"
Click More Apps......
I'm afraid it's not really an option, but there's another way:
Go to your music library, right-click on any mp3 file and select Open With, and find Spotify. The file then opens in Spotify. After this move all the MP3 files should open with Spotify as default.
This does address the real issue, as I think many are trying to set it as their media player for their keyboards and such. I don't always have a file ready, and just need to open my media player (spotify).
A good method is to just right click spotify in search or the spotify icon if its on your desktop and pin it to your task or start menu so its easy to access. Sadly theres no way to set as defualt or link to your keyboard for ease of access.
Byrne first achieved fame in the late 1970s for his work with Talking Heads, a New York-based band that combined cutting-edge artistic sensibilities with clever lyrics and danceable rhythms. Beginning in the mid-1980s, Byrne has been active in a wide range of solo projects, including theatrical and international music.

Windows Media Player (or simply Media Player) is a video and audio player developed by Microsoft for Windows 11 and subsequently backported to Windows 10. It is the successor to Groove Music (previously Xbox Music), Microsoft Movies & TV, and the original Windows Media Player. It began rolling out to Windows 11 Insider channels in November 2021 and then to all users starting in January 2022.[1][2] It was later released to Windows 10 users in January 2023.[3]
The new version of Windows Media Player (or Media Player) now includes support for video files, as part of Groove Music's rebranding from a music streaming service to a media player.[4] Other changes to the app include the album cover view being in fullscreen, and a refresh to the mini player.[5] Accessibility has also been optimized in this new version, with some improved keyboard shortcuts and hotkey support for keyboard users and with other assistive technologies.[6]
Some features from the original Windows Media Player were initially not included, such as DLNA local streaming and the ripping of CDs. Ripping was eventually reintroduced in July 2022 for Windows 11, supporting the AAC, WMA, FLAC, and ALAC formats.[7]

PropertyDescription SRGB Write Mode Enable this option to allow Graphics.SetSRGBWrite() renderer to toggle the sRGB write mode during runtime. That is, if you want to temporarily turn off Linear-to-sRGB write color conversion, you can use this property to achieve that. Enabling this has a negative impact on performance on mobile tile-based GPUs; therefore, do NOT enable this for mobile. Number of swapchain buffers Set this option to 2 for double-buffering, or 3 for triple-buffering to use with Vulkan renderer. This setting may help with latency on some platforms, but in most cases you should not change this from the default value of 3. Double-buffering might have a negative impact on performance. Do not use this setting on Android. Acquire swapchain image late as possible If enabled, Vulkan delays acquiring the backbuffer until after it renders the frame to an offscreen image. Vulkan uses a staging image to achieve this. Enabling this setting causes an extra blit when presenting the backbuffer. This setting, in combination with double-buffering, can improve performance. However, it also can cause performance issues because the additional blit takes up bandwidth. Recycle command buffersIndicates whether to recycle or free CommandBuffers after Unity executes them.
