DEFECTIVE SONY ERRISON CELL PHONE

  Re: Problem in my Cell phone
      Request for replacement of the phone.

I have purchased one "SONY ERICSSON-Z550i" mobile Phone (IME No.352124013098407)
from "Big C Mobiles Pvt Ltd",Neredmet, Secunderabad Shop(www.bigcmobiles.com) on  05.11.2006 with a
warranty of one year.But since the past two days the cell switches off automatically
particularywhile putting it on the dashboard of my Car and while closing the shutter
(its a flip type phone). So I approached the Big C Mobile shop and requested
them to replace it with a new one or any better model since I have used this
defective Phone only for a period of ten days.  Iam sure that problems will
reoccur in the cell phone even if they get it repaired.  But the shop officials
refused to replace the phone and moreover they are telling that they are helpless
in this regard and they cant do anything in this matter. I told them that the problem is
only when the phone gets shocks and showed them the problem practicly by closing the
shutter. The person sitting in the counter is saying that its a common problem in
that model and they are helpless in this matter.  So I requested them put their
opinion in writing so that I can approach Sony Errisson Company for justice. But the person
sitting in the counter is saying that they are employees of Big C Mobiles company and they
will not give any thing in writing. So I requested them to provide any contact Number of any
responsible official of Big C Mobiles Pvt Limited but he refused to do so. They are not
supposed to run such a big Multibranch Mobile shop without any responsible customer care official.
If they know that the problems are with the Sony Erisson mobiles, they are not
supposed to put such mobiles in the shop. At the time of my purchase they convinced me
that this Z-550i is a very good model and now they are saying that defects are common/usual in
sony errisson mobiles.

Atlast after a heavy argument they accepted my phone for repair subjected to their
conditions which were mentioned in their job Work sheet bearing Receipt No.130 dated 19.11.06

Sir! my humble request is that kindly arrange to replace the phone with a new one since the
repairing of cell phone only a time being satisfaction.  I have purchased this cell phone
for Rs.8100/- vide their bill No.1147 dated 05.11.2006. I will not take back my repaired cell
phone until and unless they replace it with a new one.

Once again I request you to kindly look into this matter any do justice for me.
