Harrasment by HDFC Bank

Hi

I have one HDFC Credit Card. I am paying mininmum ammount dues +
extra
every month to hdfc since last two years. On 31-07-2007 I made
last
payment of 1730. On 8th August I received letter from HDFC that
they
are closing my Credit card and they will send authorized
Recovery
Agents to my office and Home to collect the dues.

I am also getting threatning calls from HDFC agents asking me to
pay
entire 34000.

I told them when I have paid last payment on 31st July 2007 which
is
mentioned in there letter How can you Send me letter on 8th August
and
give me threat in written that you will send Recovery Agents to
My
home and Office. I also told them how in just seven day one can
become
defaulter. They told me that they will collect my dues at any
cost.
Nor Police or court can harm them.

I have slips of payment of last two years + letter from hdfc in
which
they have made threat.Later is dated 8-8-07 and in that letter
they have mentioned that my last payment was of 1730/- on
31-07-07.

Recently Couts accross country have come down heavily on banks for
using recovery agents. In my case I have received threat of
recovery agents in writting plus I getting abusive calls from hdfc
agents everyday.

I want to ask you how I can take leagal action against hdfc.

Please help me in this matter.
