problem: I sold a guitar amp on Ebay to a customer in Fl. Sig. verification when received UPS dropped the amp off with no sig. verification and the amp was totally destroyed when the buyer opened it. He sent me pictures of damages and filed against me with Ebay. I refunded his money and called my UPS store and they said they would take care of it. I contacted UPS head quarters and they told me the amp had been picked up. The buyer said UPS came and picked up the amp. My local UPS store says they have no record or claim number for the amp to be picked up. UPS head quarters says the picked the amp up. UPS packed the amp and shipped it and is now saying they will repair it. But now they are saying they don't know where the amp is? But the UPS headquarters said that it was picked up and verified buy the buyer. UPS also said they would only pay for repairs and no refund of packing or shipping costs. I'm at the point of getting a lawyer? The package was insured for $500. to cover costs of replacement and shipping charges. But UPS says they will only pay the cost of the amp repair. I need help with this! thx geno
