problem: We booked a room a the Super 8 in Naples, FL through Priceline for
two nights, Feb1 and 2. We got there and the room was full of roaches!  We
refused to stay there and went to the desk, asking for a refund. They said
they couldn't offer a refund because it was booked through Priceline. We
tried to contact Priceline, but they are well insulated, so I stopped the
charge on our Discover credit card. After investigation, Discover had
gotten nowhere with Priceline or Super 8, so Discover refunded my money as
a good will gesture.  The moral of the story is, don't book through
Priceline (they only care about the money), don't stay at a Super 8
(Dishonorable and dirty) and use Discover Card - they were great, going
beyond their responsibility to take care of me.
