Product Recalls (BETA)

Hi Everyone,

For those that have been following our progress on our blog, you'll
know that we've been busy working on our first Consumer Focus Labs
project. We're nearly there, and are aiming to go live next week. We
wanted to give you all a chance to preview the work we've been doing
and to get some feedback and suggestions.

For the past few weeks we've been building a new website for providing
alerts about Product recalls. At the moment, Trading Standards
attempts to collate recall notices and make them available on their
own website. We wanted to enhance the service provided by them and
make it much easier for people to get notified of these recalls. This
is where our site comes in. Visitors will be able to sign up for a
daily, weekly or monthly email alert notifiying them of all recalls
posted to the Trading Standards website. All recalls are fully
searchable, and numerous RSS subscription feeds are provided
throughout the site.

So what would we like you to do?

Well first of all, visit the website using the details below, sign up
for alerts, browse and search the notices. Then let us know what you
think. If you have any problems, or suggestions, let us know at
te...@consumerfocuslabs.org.

We're still working on a few bits and pieces which means the site
isn't quite ready for general release, so please don't share the
details below with anyone else just yet! When we're ready to go live
(which will hopefully be sometime next week), we'll let you know.
