Toshiba's Pakistani Ad with Tendulaker

Ma'am, i recently had an interesting debate with a colleageue regarding the attached  TOSHIBA 's Ad which printed in DAWN recently,

It shows Tendulker as Celebrity. My friend was criticisng that why Toshiba could not find a local star instead of using an Indian. I was favoring Toshiba by saying that Pakistan is not as big market opportunity as INDIA therefore instead of looking for a new local celebrity they sticked with Tendulker being a super celebrity and Sports icon and also since alot of our TVCS and print Ads now show Indians (specially movie stars) so nothing wrong with that.  

 

Would like to know your point of view Or if you can discuss it later on your blog :)
