Dear All,

I know the people behind this, these guys have been working on similar projects like SASTA TANDOOR etc so they are reliable people. Now, you can donate or you can also join this cause, I am personally meeting one of the team members and volunteering.

I just saw in today's news that people have lost their homes, dont have a roof over their head but are fasting. They have nothing to open their fast with...... if there ever was a time when our country needed us this is the it.

Regards,
Nauman Ahmed

Salaam,

I hope this email finds you in good health. Attached is a short presentation on the current flood situation in the country along with a plan to do our bit. I am personally involved with this organization, the flood relief office has been established on the ground floor of our office building.

We need to pull out all stops to generate funds for flood relief. People who were like you and me are right now sitting on the road side without food or water!

Please dig deep within your own pockets as well as the pockets of all the people you know to help our brothers and sisters in their hour of need.

Regards

Saad

Dear All,

The human impact of the recent floods in Pakistan has exceeded that of the earthquake in 2005 and according to the UN, is more devastating than the tsunami of 2004. The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is mobilizing a relief effort to try and help the flood victims. Using the TCF network spread across Pakistan, we aim to provide food, water purifying packs and basic medicines to those most in need and have set a target for 20 million meals in 30 days. The aid will be in the form of 100,000 ration bags which will be distributed by TCF staff members across the country. I am presently working with TCF and will be collecting any funds that you all can contribute on behalf of TCF. One food ration pack is costing us approximately Rs. 2500.

TCF flood relief efforts will be carried out across all those areas hit by this catastrophe. These include areas in all four provinces of Pakistan. Initial target areas include Nowshera, Mianwali, Khushab/Shahpur, Muzzafargarh, Dera Murad Jamali, Jhang and Sukkur.

We will be happy if you could come forward in this time of need and help us with our initiative. Let us all join hands and each one of us aim to feed a family of 5-6 through one pack for a month.

Please feel free to let me know in case of any queries. We need all the help we can get.

Best regards,

Romana Soorty
