The doomed midterm

Students,

Don't spoil the weekend on account of the marks. Be safe in the rain
and relax over the weekend.

Being a non-sadist teacher (although I'm trying my best to be one),
here's is what I will do in the next class.

We will have a quiz on Semantic Memory Network (so read up on it!). I
will count its marks in the mid term so that you don't lose
unnecessary marks. It's not that I'm being nice - I believe that exams
must test your capability and concepts (although yours are kind of
murky) and not just fail you. Your F doesn't achieve anything for both
of us.

So chill over the weekend. And yes, the quiz will start at 2:15pm
exact. You come after that or you're absent, you miss out. That's
final. I will not listen to any excuses on this. Haider, please bring
the quiz papers with you at the beginning of the class.

Thanks for the consideration. Please also confirm that the quiz we are referring to is scheduled on the class dated August 21st, since August 14 will be an off (at least that's my understanding).
