• 7+ years of Java development experience (pre Java 1.4 till Java 7)

• Advance level knowledge of Java language, and Java eco system

• Experience, understanding the DRY software development principle

• Experience in usage prominent Java libraries (Apache Commons, Google Guava)

• Experience and knowledge of Design Patterns

• Experience in essential modules of Spring Framework

• Understanding of essence of Unit Testing and Test Driving Development

• Experience in Maven based project building and any Continuous Integration tools

• Understanding of Web, Application containers and experience in prominent open source containers

• Essential understanding of Network protocols and extensive understanding of Http/Https

• Understanding and experience in Cryptography concepts (hashing, digest, SSL/TLS, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital certificates etc)

• Experience in various Java persistent methodologies (File, Jdbc, JPA etc)

• Experience in client view frameworks (Jsf, Jstl, Facelets etc)

• Experience in XML based technologies (XML, Dtd/Schema, Namespaces, xpath etc)

• Experience in Browser based technologies (Html markup, Javascipt, Css, Json)

• Experience in troubleshooting the development/operational issues using various tools (Firebug, Java IDE Debugging, Fiddler, Http proxy, etc)
