The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible to provide technical design leadership on assigned electrical design projects & lead the design from concept to production involving significant scope and complexity. Essential Responsibilities include:
· Design, test and troubleshooting skills in all aspects of electric and electronic design, including, but not limited to, magnetics, EMI / EMC compliance, analog electronics, digital electronics, and power electronics.
· Work with a team of systems, software, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers on multidisciplinary projects related to electric power conversion, supporting the needs for product development (requirements, design, troubleshooting, test, qualification, etc.)
· Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results, including electromagnetic compliance (EMC), electromagnetic immunity (EMI), as well as various electrical & environmental tests
· Support resolutions of challenging technical issues related to electrical power conversion products such as AC / DC generator systems, drive converters/inverters and communicate findings to a diverse technical range of audience.
