Essential Skills

• Minimum 7 Years of Experience

• Strong experience in server installation, configuration and upgrade on at least 2 of the following DBMS platforms:

o DB2 (8.x,9.x,10.2) o Sybase (12.5,15.3,15.7) o Oracle (9i,10g,11g, 12c) o MS SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012)

• Experience with database objects in production and test environments.

• Expert in performance tuning and trouble shooting.

• Experience in migrating databases from AIX/Solaris to Linux virtual platforms.

• Ability to independently plan and execute migration projects.

• Experience in DB upgrade from older version to target version – the last version in the requirement above.

• Expert in setting up and troubleshooting issues with database replication.

• Experience with database tools like Quest Foglight, iWatch, i Replay.

• Experience with AD

• Strong UNIX skills with good Shell scripting experience

• Experience with BladeLogic is a plus
