Responsibilities:

•           Participate in software development programmability / SDN projects

•           Define and develop test strategies and plan to ensure software products meet product requirement

•           Create and build test bed topologies to support test efforts

•           Identify product defects and work closely with Development to resolve

•           Champion improved methodologies

Required/Desired Skills:

•           BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

•           3+ years of software testing experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial products

•           Strong L2/L3 network testing experience with knowledge of most common switching and routing protocols.

•           Programming capability in C, Java, Python, or TCL/Expect

•           Strong background and experience in software testing methodology, test development and test execution and report generation is preferred

•           Desired experience with Cisco technologies such as Data Center Service Node and Data Center switching such as Nexus devices

•           Experience with traffic generator tools such as Ixia or Spirent

•           OpenFlow, SDN, Vmware, knowledge/experience is a plus

•           Strong verbal and written communication skill

•           Organizational and problem resolution skills

•           Excellent team building skills, including cross-functional team building.

•           Highly motivated team-player that forms strong relationships with colleagues and has good interpersonal skills

 

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 12 + months
