Dear Sarah,
LLCs are state-specific entities, meaning that its ability to conduct business is typically limited to the state in which it is filed. This could include the LLC's ability to hire employees, obtain licenses and permits, and have liability protection. For this reason most of our customers choose to file their LLC in the state where they will be conducting the majority of their business.
To view the state fee for your state, please follow the "PACKAGE DETAILS" link below and select your state from the drop-down list.
Thank you for contacting LegalZoom with your business inquiries, and we look forward to assisting you. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us by phone at (888) 381-8758. |
