Hi Team,

The Ghanaian tuna project is a no go, but of course I think it was great to have at least made the new connection.

Cheers,
Sarah

Dear Edem,

Thank you for your email, and I'm happy to hear the good news about your company's trading partner! I'm sending you my best wishes for a successful endeavor, and of course please do not hesitate to be in touch at any time.

Regards,
Sarah

Hello Sarah,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I really appreciate you taking the time to communicate with me. However at this stage our company does not really require the services that we discussed. We have located U.S. trading company that is interested in marketing our tuna products there. In the future I will be in touch if something comes up that may require your services.

Thank you,
Edem

Hi Edem,

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to check in. Have you been able to speak with your family about whether you would like us to draft a proposal for your review regarding a US market entry strategy?

Wishing you all the best,
Sarah

Hi Edem,

Thank you for your email! Would you like to try Skype without video? I see that we're both online now.

Otherwise, my phone number here in Mexico is 52 33 1761 4991. (52 is the country code and 33 is the area code and the rest is my personal number).

Until soon,
Sarah

Sorry to hear it, but definitely good to make the connection.

Coincidental, I'm scheduled to talk to today (although it seems she's no longer available) to Kristen Rainey, head of Sustainability at Sodexo and a Fletcher grad. In preping for this call, I came across this great quote from her:

“Small farms need to pass several food safety benchmarks before we can work with them to ensure that their food is safe to eat,” Rainey said. “Small farms often can’t afford to take certain safety measures and perform certain evaluations, so they lose out on marketing opportunities like a partnership with Sodexo.” Helping small farms get the funding they need for effective marketing is a promising area for entrepreneurial endeavors, Rainey believes."
