[CORRECTION][INVITATION] FILM SCREENING ''THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED''

On the 14^th anniversary of the failed coup d'état against the democratically-elected President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, we will screen and discuss the award winning documentary ''The Revolution Will Not Be Televised'', listed as one of the best documentaries on recent Latin American history.

This timely presentation takes place as opposition parties in Venezuela's National Assembly have approved a bill that seeks to pardon political crimes committed during the 47 hours that the coup lasted.

The film won several awards in the Chicago International Film Festival, International Documentary Association among others. It was also nominated in 2003 for Best Documentary and Best Irish Film at the Irish Film and Television Awards.
