Proper way to rename nodes in a cluster

Hi everybody,


Quick question, I can't find the procedures for renaming a node. Consul still somehow remembers about the old names. When running `consul operator raft list-peers` for example, i see flapping between the old and the new name, the id renaming the same. How do I make consul forget about the old names?

I was able to fix the problem by stopping all instances of consul and starting them again. Easy breezy. Hope it helps someone.
