Consul open source version in prod environment

Hello Team,

We have to use Consul in our production environment. We have already setup it with Vault in the test environment using opensource version of both. 

Can we take the same version to production. Is the opensource version proves stability in the production environment. 

Can hashicorp provide any prod support if we use the opensource versions.

The short answer is that many people are running the open source version in production absolutely fine. That said, you get no support from Hashicorp if you do that. Your only support options are community forums, and opening issues in github. However, it's spotty in terms of what support you might receive. There's no guarantees.
