I am not able to connect to Consul server port 8500 from anywhere outside the server. I can see netstat showing port 8500 listening.

I am currently running a consul agent in every server I need to connect to consul to get around the issue.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Thx

HI Sathiya,

By default Consul only binds the HTTP socket to the loopback interface, so it's only available on that host. You can control that with the -client option, see https://www.consul.io/docs/agent/options.html#_client.

Yeah that should work for a server or for an agent.
