Position: Java Architect

Location: Quincy, MA

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

·         Minimum 15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in senior software architecture roles

·         Must have 4+ years professional experience in cloud solutions architecture and solutions implementation on cloud, with strong experience in architecting cloud-first applications on at least one major enterprise-grade container-based microservices platform (ex: Pivotal Cloud Foundry, RedHat OpenShift, Fabric8, etc.)

·         Must be an expert in API Design concepts and best practices for RESTful service design and documentation

·         Expert level Java EE skills are required. Java EE certification preferred

·         Should be proficient in microservices provisioning and deployment on container-based cloud platforms

·         Must be able to architect and implement highly available, highly scalable microservices applications on the Cloud platform

·         Should have deep knowledge of microservices operational aspects and how to implement them successfully including service registration/service discovery, service monitoring, log aggregation, service management tools, etc.

·         Expert knowledge of container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes
