Hello All,

I want to get an idea about the labour charges for Plumbing work for a
2 bedroom house.

Plumbing work needs to be done for
- 2 bathrooms (wash basin (hot & cold), commode, shower area (hot &
cold)),
- kitchen (sink area (hot & cold), aqua guard point),
back side (tap required for washing m/c, utility area -tap required
(hot & cold), cloth wash Stone slab area -tap required, Indian style
toilet area) and
- couple of taps around the house & terrace,
- ofcourse pipes from terrace water tank
- connection from Borewell to Sump
- no Solar connection
- Only one geyser which will be placed below tank to supply hot water
to both the bathrooms & kitchen

Raw materials will be supplied by us.

Thank you for all the inputs.

Hi raja
There are two ways of labour charges in plumbing
1. Lumpsum ( can be calculated based on no days needs to complete the
job & no of workers involved)
2. Item wise.
In this each item is quoted seperatly.
Like fixing
1/2"pipe - rft - 10/-
1"pipe - rft - 11.00/-
2”pipe - rft -15.00/- so on……
For fixing wall mixtuere - -160/- like wise you have different rates
for each and every item.
Roughly for a 2bed room house the labour cost will somewhere between
40,000- 50,000/- .This includes external drains lines, pits,
inspection chambers etc…
Again the price varies with quality of workmanship.
