What’s the construction cost at present in this slowdown phase?

With the ‘slowdown’ I heard lots of major projects are stalled. Big
construction companies are cutting down their staff. Laborers from
other parts of India are going back.
Steel & cement prices are also gone down.
With all these effects does the construction cost went down?
Is it affordable now???

The current inflation rate which is 6+ may trend down little
You can wait few more months IMO as it has to trickle down
USA will sure to go thorugh deflation phase.
I am not 100% sure about it in India as it is difficult to get good
data points for Indian economy.
If we have a deflation, the prices will go much lower
Also when u look at bubble charts like Mittal's
they have a long way to deflate.
