Call for participation: Constraint modelling competition on 31 July (online or in-person)

Hi everyone,

This year, the ModRef workshop at CP will include a modelling competition on Sunday, 31 July.

Teams of up to three members will compete to be the quickest to find the best solutions for different instances of described problems. You can use any technology you want to solve the problems (or even no technology at all!).

Teams can compete either in person at ModRef 2022 or online. For online participation, you need to register using this Google form by Friday, 29 July, 23:59 (UTC-12, Anywhere on Earth). If you're attending the ModRef workshop, you can register in person on the day.

The problem descriptions will be available from 14:45 (UTC+3) and solutions can be submitted until 17:00 (UTC+3), after which the winners will be announced. You can familiarise yourself with the rules beforehand.

We will organise a chat server to communicate with the teams competing remotely.
