*** Apologies for multiple postings ***
Dear Constraints Community,
We invite election statements from candidates for the Executive Committee (EC) of the Association for Constraint Programming (ACP).
The Executive Committee of the ACP determines the venue and chairs for the annual CP international conference. It also organizes and supports activities such as the ACP summer school, CP doctoral program, ACP quarterly reports and website, and manages the surplus from CP conferences, reinvesting it into the CP research community.
The election statement should contain a motivation of why you want to join the EC, and what EC activities and focus points (existing or new) you would like to contribute to. Election statements will be posted on the ACP election site. Candidates must be ACP members. ACP membership is tied to CP conference and Summer School registrations, for three years. Alternatively, if you are interested in becoming a member of the Association for Constraint Programming, email the secretary miquel...@udg.edu.
Please submit your election statements to the current ACP EC at acp...@googlegroups.com by May 3, 2026.
For more details on the election procedure and rules, refer to Bylaw 5 of the ACP Bylaws at https://www.a4cp.org/about/bylaws. EC members serve a four-year term, and the following will complete their term by the end of 2026: Gilles Pesant, Hélène Verhaeghe, Inês Lynce. Therefore, we shall run an election for three members to a four-year term. Elections will take place electronically in June, 2026. The results will be communicated to the ACP members before CP 2026. The Election Committee consists of Gilles Pesant, David Bergman, and Miquel Bofill (Chair).
We look forward to receiving your election statements!
Miquel Bofill,
Secretary of the ACP
