Dear all,

The Faculty of Science and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens are hiring for two positions for the 2026 academic year: one position for an associate professor and one position for a full professor in Section 27 (computer science).

Both positions are associated with the Optimisation, Cryptography and Artificial Intelligence team (OCIA) within the Modelling, Information and Systems (MIS) research laboratory (https://mis.u-picardie.fr/).

Research Profile: The priority themes for these two positions are Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Large Language Models, etc.), but candidates with expertise in other areas of the OCIA team's work (Optimisation/Constraints and Symbolic AI) will also be considered.

Teaching profile for Full Professor: Machine learning, biomimetic algorithms, integration of AI APIs into applications and databases, Big Data modelling and object-oriented programming.

Teaching profile for Associate Professor: Software engineering, object-oriented modelling and programming, databases, big data, systems, DevOps and networks.
