The 20th workshop on constraint modelling and reformulation (ModRef 2021 - https://modref.github.io/ModRef2021.html) is taking place virtually on October 25, preceding CP2021, with free registration (https://cp2021.lirmm.fr/attendee/registration).
The summary of the programme is as follows:
Two invited talks: Prof. Torsten Schaub (Universität Potsdam, Germany) on “Answer Set Programming in a Nutshell” and Dr Bart Bogaert “The IDP System: what and why?”
Six regular talks (ten minutes for presentation plus ten minutes for discussion)
Lightning talks and community discussion on “Integrating modelling as a component”. The last session will be a collaborative exercise to identify challenges for the next five years of modelling, with the goal of producing a jointly-written white/research paper to guide future research. This session will consist of a series of lightning talks pointing out pain-points or desired features for modelling, then a series of focussed discussions to identify common features, possible solutions and research directions.
