Tea Party Report

Hello Friends and Members of CPAZ,

I hope many of you attended a Tea Party this past Wednesday. If not,
you missed out. The two I attended were a wonderful American
experience. The crows were upbeat and positive, friendly, and in
general very receptive to our party.

I was able to attend the Tucson Tea Party in the morning, and get
interviewed on two radio talk shows and the local PBS television
station (Channel 6). Joe Goodale, the CPAZ Vice-Chairman did a great
job of setting up these interviews for me. Then we handed out
approximately 400 contact information cards about the CP!

Later that evening in Phoenix, I met Mike Braunberger, Tim Coleman,
and Ken Becht. All were participating in the event, meeting folks, and
giving out info on the CPAZ! With the help of my daughters, and the
Braunbergers, we handed out approximately 2,300 cards with the CPAZ
website for folks to look at! This was in addition to what Ken and Tim
were passing out. This was truely a receptive crowd for our party.

I am preparing an email newsletter to be sent to everyone who has
signed up on our state website. I would like to include a report on
the Tea Party activities in our state. So if you participated in any
way, please send me an email giving some brief info on your
experience. Also, if you were able to hand out info or collect
signatures, please include that as well.

Thanks to every one of you that participated in this extrordinary
event!
