2023 Jane Feuer Memorial Travel Grant Recipients

Dear Console-ing Passions community -

On behalf of the 2023 CP Travel Grant Committee, we are delighted to announce the recipients of the second annual Jane Feuer Memorial Fund Travel Grants: Fatima Bahja and Mengmeng Liu!  Both scholars will be presenting their research this June at the 2023 CP conference in Calgary.

Fatima's CP23 paper is titled: "#therevolutionisfemale: Gendering the October 17 Revolution in Lebanon to Reimagine the Nation."  Fatima’s paper will be presented on Friday, June 23 from 9:30 - 10:50 a.m. as part of the “Relcaiming Space: Mediated Activism” panel.  To learn more about Fatima's research, please visit: https://rtf.utexas.edu/profiles/fatima-bahja
