Am I the only one who has fallen fowl of this Company? It seems they are Judge, Jury and Executioner when it comes to changing their policies, forgetting their loyal customers who paid good money for them to exist. If this is how they treat their loyal customers, just think what they must be like to work for! I pity their employees. If nothing else, ManyCam has FAILED to honour all customers who purchased a Premium Lifetime Subscription! Shame on you!!!

Will I get all future versions and updates of ManyCam for free?
ManyCam Lifetime subscription plans. Any paid ManyCam Lifetime subscription allows you to upgrade the ManyCam software for free whenever a newer version of ManyCam is released, i.e. with ManyCam Lifetime, you will get lifetime access to all future versions and updates of the ManyCam application for free, which includes access to the paid ManyCam features available in your subscription plan (Standard, Studio, Premium, Enterprise, Education). ManyCam Lifetime subscription plans are a one-time payment, no renewal or other fees included.
This is NOT the way you treat your customers.
The correct way would be to grandfather in Lifetime subscribers and let the new subscription model be for new users. Or AT LEAST give us a minimum of 10 year free use.
Adding my disgust at this bait and switch. Supported ManyCam for years. Bought a lifetime sub, now they yank away the football. And at some point I suspect version 7 will cease functioning forcing our hand. E-mails go unreturned.
Like everyone else here, I signed up for the lifetime subscription with the clear understanding that all future updates would be free. (See screenshot below from their website).

I have version 8 and the virtual webcam no longer shows up following MacOS 14.1 update. I tried reinstalling and everything else I can think of. Is this a known issue? Seems like both version 7 and 8 are affected.
I have a similar problem having upgraded from beta to Studio; uninstalled earlier file; reinstalled new file; run the desktop app in OS Catalina but the beta version is still installed. How do I get to the upgraded version; there should just be a button to upgrade???

When I download it it shows that it has been downloaded then I click it it brings me to a place that lets me download the app after waiting a bit it shows the app is ready I cant find it but when I click on the same app it tells me to download Im on mac Elcaptain
Are there any plans or timeline for developing a version of ManyCam that runs natively on the new Apple M1 chips? And in the meantime, are there any reports or expectations for how the software will perform on those chips via the legacy solution (Rosetta 2)? Thanks very much.
Are there any first of a kind users with Apple M1 Chip? I have MacMini with M1 Chip and no virtual cam works with Webex under the google chrome browser. Manycam is just not visible at all on this computer. It is a mess and frustrating.
Update from my post of one hour ago. I found a link for ManyCam 7.8.0.5 with which I was able to access layer management options through the preset panel. I still cannot access the options by right clicking on the active window itself. Perhaps this function is no longer offered?
Bigger problem is that Intel virtual cameras will not run on M1, so neither the Manycam nor OBS virtual cameras work. mmhmm, which is available free for educators right now, does work because it has been updated. However, it lacks the scene selection capabilities in Manycam and OBS. It is basically a toy right now.
