I seem to be having a very annoying problem that I cannot correctly set up my classification manager. I do not seem to get the set up button what so ever. I can select an object & assign a classification but I need to import the EF table to classify them to how I want & I cant seem to find where I add the table.
Any help is appreciated so thank you. I did look at some videos but they all seem to show a different version of BIM interoperability tools than mine, all with the set up button under the classification manager heading . I did look at the "create configuration" button but I believe this only relates to equipment data.
Firstly if you use the help link from inside Assign Classification dialogue box it takes you to the old videos for Classification Manager which doesn't quite work the same way. So they've updated the tools but not updated the help to match. I can't actually find any help topic on the new Standardized Data tool.
Select your object and keeping it selected pick the BIM Interoperability tab on the ribbon then Assign Classification and the EF, Pr and Ss codes will be avaialble, then drill down through the tree to the one that you want.
We are currently in the process of upgrading Revit. We have customized the pyrevit toolbar to run a handful of our dynamo scripts. These graphs are being duplicated and upgraded to run with the new version of Revit.
As I duplicate and update our dynamo scripts to work with revit 2023, I will create a new folder in the pyrevit directory for the 2023 scripts? In the screenshot below, all 2022 scripts have a _22 suffix. All 2023 scripts have a _23 suffix. I then use the bundle.yaml file in each folder to dictate which revit version this particular file applies to?
Can you please point me in the direction of documentation on how to set up the bundl.yaml to only open up the _2022.dyn and _2023.dyn files in the respective versions using the formatting you show above?
I think what would be ideal is if that versioning could take place further up the folder structure. In the image below, each of the .pulldown and .stack folders have a 10-12 scripts and more are being made. It would make organizing the library easier if we could make a custom_2022.pulldown and a custom_2023 pulldown, sorting out the versioning one time in this YAML file.
I think you are talking about editing the bundle.yaml file while Ehsan talks about implementing a solution where you would just specify the version by the dyn script name itself (which seems much simpler to manage)

Me and my coworkers have been learning dynamo because one of our coworkers got a new job. I was tasked with writing a dynamo script for revit that syncs, relinquishes, and syncs for model coordination. Every youtube video that I have seen has promoted scripts for geometry parameters, ribbons, etc. Is it even possible to write a script for the revit tool bar? If so, and you know a great youtube video to learn a script for it, please let me know!
