Afterschool Extend & Explore classes allow our Preschool and Lower School students to grow, learning skills such as coding, magic, or science. Families do not have to be registered for Extended Day to attend these classes but must have an account in the Extended Day System. To see our current offerings, visit CampBrain.
On select holidays, Greenhill offers care to students currently enrolled in the Extended Day program, excluding students enrolled in just Extend & Explore classes. These care days are when the School is closed but Extended Day still provides care.
Email Accounts for New Students Arriving Thursday, July 21
Parents of new students will receive information for student account access on Thursday, July 21. Please communicate the account information to your student and ask them to follow the instructions outlined in the email. If you do not receive an email by Friday, or if you have trouble accessing email or GryphOn, please email
techs...@greenhillsschool.org.
Student Access to GryphOn for the First Time
New students will be able to access GryphOn after they have received their school email. A step-by-step guide will be provided in the student account access communication referenced above.
Both parents/guardians must sign the form in GryphOn for it to be complete. If you have completed the form but continue to see a banner in GryphOn notifying you that this form must be reviewed, it is likely because the parent/guardian has yet to sign. If you have any issues or questions, please email [email protected].
COVID-19 Immunization Exemption
Any students requesting medical, religious, or emergency use authorization status exemption must complete the COVID-19 Immunization Exemption Request form by August 6 (upper school sports begin on August 9).
Greenhills School requires students to bring a laptop to school. A 1:1 device for students allows us to continue to boost our instruction technology capabilities, help students to collaborate and communicate on devices that they feel most comfortable with, and decrease the usage of shared devices.
> Review the Student Laptop Policy
Parents and students can now access their course assignments through GryphOn. Please note that the Academic Office will continue balancing sections and making small adjustments, so schedules (i.e. class periods and teachers) will not be published until the week of August 16.
The right side of the screen will show you/your child's course enrollment. To see the course description, click on the arrow next to the grade level on the left to expand the course list, then click on the course name to open the description.
> Log into GryphOn
Greenhills hosts an online bookstore through BNC K-12, part of MBS Direct, to make ordering books convenient and fast for parents. The course catalog is linked to your student's assigned materials so you know you're getting the right course materials, and most orders are shipped within 24 hours.
Note About Digital Book Options
Many courses offer options for hard copy books, digital books, or a combination of both. Only one option is required for each class. Families may choose between any of the format options available for their classes (9th grade Introductory Biology recommends the digital book option).

Trash collection service is provided to single-family homes and businesses that use brown trash carts in the Urban Services District of Nashville. Residents must place trash in their brown roll-out cart. For more details on the residential trash collection program, read through the frequently asked questions below or call
615-862-5000.
Residential construction waste must be collected by a private hauler or contractor. Small amounts of Do It Yourself construction waste that would fit in a regular size pick-up truck no higher than the top of the bed can be taken to the Omohundro or East Convenience Center.
Each service address is issued 1 brown department approved curbside cart for trash disposal at newly constructed homes. Residents can request up to one additional cart for a cost of $65.00. Residents are allowed up to 2 recycling carts at no additional cost.
If a container originally furnished by the department is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, the owner shall replace the cart at their sole cost. The cost for a replacement cart is $65.00. (Metro Code 10.20.110a)
If your trash collection day falls on a holiday, all collection days after the holiday in that week will be delayed by one day. For example, if the holiday is on a Monday, collection for Monday customers will be on Tuesday, Tuesday customers on Wednesday, Wednesday customers on Thursday, etc. If the holiday falls on a weekend (and Metro Government is observing the holiday on a Monday or Friday) trash and recycling collection will NOT be delayed but will take place on the regular collection schedule.
If you have problems with your service, missed pickups or general questions about trash collection, call
615-862-5000 or contact us. If you are reporting a missed pickup on your collection day, you can submit a request online at
hub.nashville.gov starting at 5 p.m. or call into
615-862-5000 the next day.
The Convenience Centers provide a convenient way for Davidson County residents to dispose of excess residential trash, recyclables, and other waste items that are not accepted in our curbside trash and recycling program.
This form should ONLY be used to provide feedback about the website. If you need customer service such as a noise complaint, property violation or assistance from any Metro department, please submit a hubNashville request.
Millbrae School District is fully committed to its longstanding tradition of delivering an excellent education for local students. Our local schools are award-winning and serve over 2,100 students from TK-8th grade with a mission of providing each student with a strong academic foundation.
The District conducted a Facilities Master Plan to capture the current state of school facilities and provide a listof improvements needed at each school site. While our students continue to succeed, repairs and upgrades areneeded across all Millbrae schools.
Fixing the identified repair needs would provide teachers with the tools they need to help students succeed and ensure all students have equal access to modern, high-quality educational facilities. Updates and repairs to heating and ventilation systems and aging roofs are needed to make these systems efficient, sustainable and keep our children safe and healthy.
