As the Dark King, a Demon Realm warrior has ultimate authority over the entirety of the Demon Realm and its inhabitants. Their appearance also undergoes a drastic change. As the leader of the Demon Realm, they possess life energy referred to as the Dark Factor.

In the form, Mechikabura's hair flows outward into a spikier shape, and he gains golden horns shaped like a crown on his forehead, along with long red marks running down the sides of his face. His outfit changes from his red Kai's garb to a black-and-gray robe and coat with gold adornments and a spiked red cape. Unique to Mechikabura are his two versions of the Dark King form - his base state (which was a Demon God form) and the Time Power Unleashed form, the latter of which turns the red accents of his appearance black (lengthening his horns and even completely covering the sides of his face).

In the form, Fu's transformation does not noticeably affect his hair besides lengthening his front bang but creates red marks on the sides of his face. He dons a caped black-and-purple outfit with gold lining, similar to a formal military uniform. In place of his glasses is a red-and-gold monocle worn over his left eye. When taking the form for the first time in the anime, Fu's cape was covered in bright purple energy (before blasting said energy at Vegito Blue).

Mechikabura was the original Dark King and assumed the transformation after regaining his youth and escaping the Time Labyrinth. As he was sealed away, he released the Dark Factor which went into those nearby. Towa eventually obtained this energy and placed it into Fu, turning him into the new Dark King, while Towa herself enhanced her Demon God form with the Dark Factor's energy.[1]

Demigra transforms slightly after releasing his hidden power, gaining the red markings on his face as well as golden crown that Mechikabura had in his initial Dark King form, as well as large clawed hands.

After Fu transformed into the new Dark King, he gained the ability to summon parts of Mechibura's Time Power Unleashed state including his clawed hands and even a giant avatar made of his chestplate while Fu was being possessed by Mechikabura.

By absorbing space-time energy from the Lucky Time Box, Demigra gained the ability to take on the Time Power Unleashed form on top of his Dark King (Full Power) state. His version of the form also takes on attributes of his Transcended form.

After attempting to absorb the time birds he caught, Tokitoki instead reverted him to a youthful appearance only managing to absorb Dogidogi. In this form Fu's Demon God mark shrinks to a small line below his right eye and one of Dogidogi's wings grew out of his back.

When Fu manages to perfect his new abilities and master Dogidogi's power, his new form turns complete. The evolution form made his Demon God mark grow around his eye and Dogidogi's second wing grow from his back.

Mechikabura appears as the Dark King in Dragon Ball Heroes, introduced in the cutscenes for the Dark King Mechikabura Saga added in Universe Mission 7. He became a playable character in Universe Mission 9. Dark King Fu was added as a playable character in Big Bang Mission 5.

A new threat from the past is rising, and only a handful of heroes remain to fight. Pursued by dark forces, Will and his allies must leave the safety of the Hall and travel to the heart of the ancient world, making new and dangerous alliances and revealing the shocking secrets of the past.

Lastly, I have to talk about worldbuilding. C.S. Pacat does a fantastic job building out the Old World and its history. Multiple settings carry over from Dark Rise or are new to Dark Heir. All of them shift perspectives and/or build out to more expansive, impressive landscapes. All the while building out the mythology of the Old World, connecting the relevance to the plot.

With that, and before I write a review as long as Dark Heir, I have to reiterate that this review does not do Dark Heir any justice. I am dying to see what the third installment will entail. Speaking of which, the ending of Dark Heir?

Our familial banter is cut short when Madoc, one of my Night Watchers, opens the door and shoves the manager in my direction, causing him to tumble onto the floor. My lip curls in disgust. He looks like he just came from getting sucked off in his car. His charcoal suit is wrinkled, tie loosened with top buttons undone, and his shirttails are sticking halfway out, like he was hastily tucking them back in before Madoc got ahold of him.

He struggles to his feet, then does a piss-poor job of pulling himself together, tugging on his jacket and swiping his greasy hair back with a meaty palm. Already, beads of sweat are dotting his forehead, and I can smell the stench of his dampening armpits.

Since I was born after the banishment, I only feel an objective sense of loss, in that I know I should have them. But for Seamus and the others who hail from Tr na ng, I imagine it feels the same as a human after a limb is amputated.

Dropping the ruse like an anvil, a malevolent grin slides onto my face as I abandon my glamour and let Ralph get his first look at the real me: pointed ears, golden eyes so bright they almost glow, and deadly sharp canines.

Unfortunately for Ralph, a few days in Faerie could be a hundred years or more over here. A punishment that amuses me more than the swift finality of his death would, since a human mind cannot travel back from Faerie and survive fully intact.

He winks, making me grin and shake my head as I slide into the car. Once the door is closed, I exhale slowly and let the adrenaline of the past hour drain out through my feet into the floorboards. Despite the neon chaos going full bore outside my window, a quiet stillness wraps itself around me, and I feel like myself again.

What I liked about Sombra before they made him all extravagant later on, was that he wasn't given a tragic past, or shown to have some sort of a struggle. Discord wanted to have fun but didn't realize he was lonely. Chrysalis originally wanted to harness Equestria's love for both power and to feed her hive the only way sue knew how. Sombra just mastered "dark magic" and worked to obtain power, and he managed to do it, all by himself.

The manga was adapted into a 13-episode anime series produced by Satelight and aired on Tokyo MX and other stations in late 2008. The anime has been licensed for North America by Sentai Filmworks and distributed by Section23 Films. The complete series was released on a DVD set on September 15, 2009.[1] The series was re-released with the English dub on DVD and Blu-ray on July 20, 2010.

A global-scale nuclear war has transformed most of the Earth into a barren ocean-less wasteland, resulting in the downfall of modern civilization and a return to a lawless age of barbarism. The survivors of mankind begin to fight each other over the limited supply of uncontaminated food and water still left in the world. The strong ones begin to band together in gangs and armies, fighting each other over territory, while oppressing the weak. A man named Raoh appears, seeking to establish order in the post-apocalyptic world through his mastery of the martial art of Hokuto Shinken. With the help of his childhood friends Reina and Souga, Raoh takes on the mantle of the "King of Fist", as he gradually extends his reign, recruiting new allies in the process, while fighting against rival warlords who seek to challenge his authority.

A video game version of Ten no Haō was released by Interchannel for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on January 22, 2009. It is a cel-shaded 3D fighting game featuring 13 playable fighters from the manga and anime. All the characters are voiced by their voice actors from the anime series, with the exception of Raoh, who is voiced by Rikiya Koyama. Jagi and Amiba, who were omitted in the anime, are voiced by Tsuyoshi Aoki and Kazuyuki Okitsu respectively, while Kenshiro, who was unvoiced in the anime, is voiced by Hideo Ishikawa.[3]
