spatial models in species conservation

In this second of CPSG’s 2021
webinar series, Dr Katia Ferraz (University of
Sao Paolo and CPSG Brasil) provides an
introduction to Habitat Suitability Modeling and
its integration into the planning process. Katia
has assisted in more than 25 endangered species
conservation planning workshops worldwide and
has been championing the integration of a
predictive, spatial modelling tool into the
conservation decision-making process. Katia will
provide some examples to illustrate its
integration as a means to inspire further use of
the tool within species conservation
planning.
