Prolife. What does that mean? Pro-life to me, means that I believe that a new human life is created at the moment of conception and has the same rights as any other human, therefore abortion is wrong. I have three reasons why I am pro-life. First and foremost, I am a Christian. I am pro-life simply because God wants me to be. Secondly, I believe any human life taken intentionally is modern day human sacrifice. Third, is that I have lost a sibling while he or she was only weeks old and know the heartache of a lost life.

So, very early then, I equated reading with making people happy. And once I had learned to read, I discovered what a glorious thing it was to escape through a good book into some other world, at least for a time. It was a kind of double blessing: reading was a private, solitary experience, something you could withdraw into; and yet, when you were reading, you were never really alone. There was always the storyteller. There were always the characters. They were there when you needed them. They were your friends. And this corresponds to what I would one day learn about writing itself. The writing life appealed to me first of all because I saw it as something I could do alone, hidden, in the privacy of my room. But soon I discovered, as all writers do, that writing was an ideal way to escape the world and to be a part of the world at the same time.

Of course, the more we read, the more we understand how much of literature deals with many of the same big questions as does philosophy: What is the role of human beings in the universe? What is the relationship between the individual and society? What is reality? Why are things as they are? What is the nature of good and evil? How should a human being live? What is death? If everyone must die, what is the meaning of life?

The experience may have been a major event in your life, or it may have been a small, quiet moment when you came to understand something valuable about life. The essay should reflect the your thoughts, experiences, and writing abilities without the assistance of AI tools like ChatGPT.

Narrative, argument, informational. We may teach these genres as though writing can be contained in just one of these forms in part because that is how the Common Core State Standards segregate writing.

When I draw on the standards to inform my practice, we (as a class) decide if we will write first and decide on where we can send the publication later or decide on the publication first and then consider our audience as we write.

When it comes to topics, I really want students to write what they know and write into that knowledge to discover something about themselves and their topics, but that is what writing does anyway. I write to figure things out and rarely know where I am going until I get to the end.

While I purport to have a writing workshop where students select their topics, I do guide them in trying new forms and purposes to stretch their writing experiences. For argument, then, I wrote a personal argument and supported students in the process of finding the arguments stirring in their own lives and use the writing process to work through the tensions and seek understanding.

I thought I would use images of my class notebook to walk through the process of writing a personal argument. I am a writer in our workshop, so I write alongside students, often inviting them into my inner thoughts as I write. When I need a new topic or have a blog to write, I follow a typical writing process:brainstorm, planning, rhetorical design (sometimes before the brainstorm), drafting the lead, drafting, working through the closing and how I want to leave the reader, and revision, editing, publishing, celebrating. What I will illuminate here is how I do inquiry into my life through the drafting phase (please, excuse the red pen as by December all my extra pens and pencils have been borrowed; I distinctly remember finding this red pen on the floor).

On the other hand, some may argue that parents raise their children to be independent and there may even be some who argue that not all parents are good and thus do not deserve respect from their children. In fact, there are experts who would argue that children should actually distance themselves from an abusive parent to protect themselves. If a parent is hurting the child emotionally, physically, or even financially, psychologist might suggest to a child to break up with that parent. When the child is young, DCFS, the Department of Children and Family Services, would remove the child, but what about an adult child? Who protects him or her? Now, I know that DCFS exists to protect children who cannot protect themselves, but the question still remains, how can an adult child protect themselves when they feel abused (emotionally, physically, or financially) by a parent? Is it ever okay to break up with your parent, and in my case, my dad?

Some may say that if I lie in my letter then the confirmation would have not been real since one of the reasons I got it was on a lie, and that it would be a major sin towards the church. But, in actuality my confirmation would be legitimate because when you get confirmed, the Priest sprinkles holy water on you which means that you are now blessed and cleared of any recent sins that you may have committed. Almost like being baptized again, where you are now holy and forgiven; like being born again.

On a different point of view, some parents may not want to do it, but they may be struggling with things involving money. In that case, it is understandable to want to work extra and improving their job more. They might need the extra money to make a better life for their children.

It is the best way to get rid of your anger or any argument. In my career argument is the mandatory thing. I am an online book ghostwriter and I have to argue with clients to teach them that their opinion is good but not best. so am gonna use this thing next time.

nothing is so foreign to my mode of writing than extended narration [narration estendue]. I have to break off so often from shortness of wind that neither the structure of my works nor their development is worth anything at all.

Once one is on the lookout for comments on memory, one finds them everywhere. There is a constant discord of opinion. I think the British writer James Meek is accurate when he describes Light Years (1975) by the American novelist James Salter:

But there is a means by which this absolutely crucial enquiry can be carried out. Let the young soul look back upon its life and ask itself: what until now have you truly loved, what has drawn out your soul, what has commanded it and at the same time made it happy? Line up these objects of reverence before you, and perhaps by what they are and by their sequence, they will yield you a law, the fundamental law of your true self.

Writing a college essay gets easier as the process continues. The first and most difficult part is finding a snapshot of time that can be used as an interesting and different story to make you stand out as a candidate.

Next came the other hard part, trying to create a hook that sets the stage for your story and is also simple enough to connect to a conclusion. This was the hardest part for me. I wanted it to be different from everyone else. I tried way too hard to make it perfect and it caused me to get discouraged. I asked my teacher and she said simple is the best start. Once you finish the essay, you can go back and modify it.

I was confused right away. I had no idea what moves were good or bad. I figured, since the back row pieces were the strongest, I should get them in play early. That was not the right idea. My dad effortlessly forced my prominent pieces into spots where they were trapped, and within 15 moves, I was losing badly. In a last-ditch effort to stall the game, I checked his king before my imminent downfall, as his next move was checkmate.

But I wanted to play again. I wanted to try a different strategy where I pushed the pawns first. I was still unsure, but since moving the pieces in the back left my king alone, I assumed developing pawns could lead to a more structured attack.

Countless times, I have thought back to this moment. Over time, I began to realize chess was a fitting metaphor for life. Getting off to a good start is essential, just as every morning is crucial to get out of bed with a positive attitude about the day ahead. The pieces with less numerical value can be just as powerful as the queen, similar to how a small gesture at the right moment can have a considerable impact on someone else.
