For higher education, residents can consider universities near Mira such as Zayed University (Dubai Campus), Al Ghurair University and Emirates Aviation University. These universities are located just 20 minutes from Mira in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC).

For a more extensive shopping experience, residents can head to Dubai Outlet Mall, which is located less than 15 minutes away in Dubailand. True to its name, this mall is a great place for those who love discounts. Top labels on sale include Coach, Adidas, Fred Perry, Mango and Aldo. In 2018 residents became concerned as some of the external rendering weakened and pieces were crumbling and falling into the gardens. Repairs were soon carried out by Emaar on the affected properties.

Reem is situated at the cross-roads of Al Qudra and Emirates Road. It is also in close proximity to the Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Global Village, and just over 20 minutes from Downtown Dubai and the Dubai International Airport.
