Currentlyhave QB DT Pro, curious about Premier. We have 3 users, I sometimes think we could have a couple more access for inquiry. We are a non-profit, and I'm wondering if Premier might not be better for some of the reporting capabilities and other specific options. I tried looking on the QB / Intuit site for a side-by-side comparison, but it seems like comparisons are always done by competitors and they tout the cost and other "advantages" over QB. Is there a QB site that does comparisons of the two? Any users in non-profit (like chamber of commerce type) using premier or pro? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Another afterthought: We do have some inventory items, and currently use SpotOn for the POS. We are not thrilled with SpotOn and are looking at Shopify, Clover and perhaps others. We understand that QB cancelled their POS option and are now recommending Shopify.
QuickBooks Desktop Premier offers industry-specific editions such as manufacturing and wholesale, retail, contractor, nonprofit, and professional services. It is more affordable than QuickBooks Pro and is best suited for small businesses with general accounting needs.
If you're looking for reporting features, QuickBooks Desktop Premier provides industry-specific reports that can be particularly helpful for nonprofit organizations like yours. Both Pro and Premier allow up to three users for user access. However, if you need additional user access, you may need to purchase additional licenses.
For more detailed information about the differences between QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier, I recommend that you get in touch with our Sales Team. They can give you an in-depth analysis of the different features of each version and help you decide which one is best suited to your needs.
These versions of QuickBooks offer integration capabilities with various POS systems, allowing you to track and manage inventory efficiently. Whether you choose QB Pro or Premier, you should be able to integrate a compatible POS system to streamline your inventory management processes.
If you can't locate your POS system on the website, consider contacting your POS provider. They can provide you with information on whether there is a direct integration option available for QuickBooks.
