I just opened the Google Group for the Connectivism course and it is
full of explicit pornography .. both text and images .. even the
header is very explicit sexual content. I may not be able to
participate in the main session if this continues to be a problem (I
could get fired) ... too bad!

I am not talking about THIS Google group for the SL Cohort .. it has
no ads at the top of the page .. I am referring to the actual Google
groups for Connectivism (234 members), http://groups.google.com/group/connectivism?hl=en&lnk=
(Connectivism and Connective Knowledge) and I noticed today that there
is absolutely nothing in the header area now (not even text as there
is here in this Google Group .. perhaps the owner deleted everything
was there....intent of my alert). My computer is not infected .. there
were 6 hours between my alert and your check (glad you didn't see
it ... it was graphic .. and there were also several actual posts that
were porno). So I think it is more likely that someone cleaned it
up .. since it involved posts and ads both. Thanks.

Yes, George did clean it up. I was very worried also but the problem luckely is resolved.
