There was a contest in Hungary, called International Coedu EducatioNET
Contest. During the contest, groups of 3-8 students (with adult
helpers) created their own e-learning contents in 8 different topics.
Of course, to do so, they used the Coedu EducatioNet system. In the
framework of the contest, the groups were provided with all the
assistance to be able to create their learning content online, without
the need of personal contact. A significant number of Hungarian
students living outside the borders of Hungary. The result of each
group's work was made available to all participants on the internet.

The first edutainment competition in Hungary, called: ProfessorX
Mission, realized by the cooperation of UPC Hungary, Oktopusz
Foundation and Coedu E-Learning Ltd. It aimed at popularization of e-
learning and the internet was launched with the participation of 460
teams, resulting in almost 1400 participants. Through the mission,
which was a crime story, players improved their skills of using the
Internet. Furthermore students had to study the lives and oeuvres of
famous Hungarian scientists and artists in order to be able to save
them from the evil ProfessorX.
Students from 478 different settlements and Hungarians living outside
the country participated. They formed groups in order to work out the
mission’s spy story. Meanwhile, they learnt the terms and conditions
of online publishing, the operation of the twiki system, they created
websites, improved their internet research skills and they also learnt
a lot about the history of Hungarian science, and about the lives of
great inventors and scientists. Mimóza was also responsible for
promoting the game, besides the online and print ads, TV spots also
advertised our edutainment game across the country.
