Role: Pega Developer

Location:  Allen, TX - MUST WORK ONSITE

Position Type:  6 months contract w/possible extension 

Residency Requirements:  All visas accepted

 

** PEGA CSA Certification is required **

 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Pega Developers are engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements responding to outages and creating application system models.

· Pega Developers primary functions are to design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code). Will provide assistance with maintenance and production issues.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

· 5+ Years development experience with a Pega 7.0, Pega 8.0 above

· 3+ Years development experience with a Java/J2EE

· 2+ Years working directly with relational databases with a strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling

· 2+ Years working with web-based applications (JSP, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, etc.)

· 2+ Years' experience with multi-threaded applications/components

· 2+ Years' experience with XML

· Superior troubleshooting experience

· 4+ years’ experience in software development experience demonstrating the depth of technical understanding within Pega BPM tool

· Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT

 

Preferred:

· Experience in the Telecom industry

· Experience with any Telecom Order entry is preferred but not required
