I am hoping that some may be able to help.

I work at a secondary school, and I am working on a medium size CNC wood carving table.

I had replaced the break out board with BL-USBMACH and connect it to a PC running MACH3,

All went well except the 0-10V to run the VFD only gets to 5V, the board has a 24V supply.

Maybe I have some setting in MACH3 that I have set incorrectly

Regards

Hi Gordon

The easy fix is probably to change the scaling parameter in the VFD.   There will be a value that changes the voltage into hertz.

Alternatively (less ideal, but if the above cannot be done) change the full scale hertz to double the normal value (eg 100 or 120 Hz, typically).

Failing that a simple op amp voltage doubling circuit would also work, since you have +24v available

Good luck
