Hi Dudes

Thanks to some info from another member of the list, I have been reading the email archive from Dorkbot Melbourne. I cam across this thread:

What it is talking about is a new location for Dorkbot, in the CBD. Of course there is no reason why we could not consider joining together with such a group.

The summary mostly of the thread is that they have an arts organisation looking to offer some space.

Sounds like there is a little bit of politics in the middle of the thread that is worth ignoring - all groups have something :-)

Anyway, might be worth contacting them.

Thoughts?

dorkbot was at my place for quite sometime... dorkbot was mostly a
show-n-tell thingy that happened once a month... and for a few geeks to
network, it never really developped into practical meetings were shit
got done.

it also had a bias towards audio geeks.. which was never officially
recognized or encouraged, it simply just was something the majority had
in common...

there would be many dorkboters that would be interested in your group,
if you are seeking new people, we could get your details onto the
dorkbot site.... dorkbot may also have a mail list that many still get..
