Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but a short search didn't yield an answer.
I am having problems connecting to my home automation server over 3G using public keys. I have generated and added the correct keys and distributed them to
the various authorized_keys files and I can connect with no issues over wifi via a DCHP ip address > never asked for passphrase.
However when I login via 3G to via a '
no-ip.org' hostname I am asked for my public key passphrase > this only happens once per session, I can close and open the connection as often as I like but when I exit connectbot (or reboot the server/phone) I am once again asked for a my passphrase.
My sshd.config is set to only use key authorisation so without a reliable (and automated) login setup my scripts cannot run automatically.
