Trying to extract the discussions about the game into its group ... :-)

Looking to the thread dumps - made with visualvm - it looks like the bitmap images are extract using the network nonetheless. Even if the application has already been loaded into the cache of webstart. That's weird because there were already bitmaps in the game that were loaded on demand without any performance issues whatsoever.

Allowing the background loading of the images does make it more playable though. But the image loading is REALLY behind on the game.

It looks like I'm going to have to build in some kind of initialization after all : caching bitmaps and loading data from Facebook.

Also I don't get it why I'm getting two consoles popping up... if somebody has an explanation...
